Zeus has gone with us while we went sledding several times. I am afraid he doesn't like sledding very much himself, but he does like chasing -and sometimes pouncing on- us.
He also will go on the iced over creek, but he comes back backwards. Like he's afraid that turning around will break the ice. It's rather cute. :-)

His name does suit him for sheer size, and he's quite the brightest dog we've ever had, although more than a little clumsy.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we didn't name him. That's what he answered to when we got him (he's a rescue dog from the local shelter).
We have thought of changing it to Seuss.
I took it in the spirit of Boniface cutting down the tree that was sacred to Thor - Christ is Lord over all and the pagan gods are no gods at all.
