The first picture is, as you can see, a dragonfly; I have no idea what kind.
The first pic on the left is a view of our creek .
The middle one is raspberries. Next is a picture of what I think were tree roots; I thought it was pretty how they arched over the water.
The next row has a Morning Glory with dew, and the one after that is some trees arching over the path.
And the picture that is to the left of these words was taken when I first started on my walk; it was very misty and I got a little wetter than I normally like to.

I'm pretty sure the first photo of is actually a damselfly.
See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damselfly

Nice photos, by the way.
Ooh, the dark water pic is now my desktop background! Lovely! :-)
Blue morning glories are one of my favorites... make me think of my mom. She was always pointing them out to me when I was little.
A damselfly indeed. I think it's an appropriately-named Black-winged Damsel (Calopteyrx maculata). Beautiful insect, and a nice photo. I envy your proximity to water - all the best bugs are (semi-)aquatic.
Wow, do I really live here?
Occasus and Jquinby- thanks for the i.d. and information- much appreciated!
Heidi- glad you liked it- we almost took that one down because it looks so dark on our screen.
Sprittibee- I love blue flowers.
Honey- you not only live here, you have the poison ivy to prove it.=)
Re: the overly dark water photo.
Picasa is a pretty decent photo organizer and editor. It's available as a free download here:

Although it's nowhere near as powerful as Photoshop, it's very straight-forward to use. I use it more than Photoshop now if a photo only needs a bit of tweaking. I've posted Picasa's cleaned-up version of your's at my blog.
