Too cute. My mother had a black Lab/Irish Wolfhound mix. Mom said he was the smartest dog that ever lived. I'll bet Donovan (great name, by the way)has the same intelligence. Good Lord, but he is cute.
Hey cranky, do you think Donovan looks like your mother's dog? It is interesting that you mentioned that, because while doing the picture searches, one of the pics that looked the most like Donovan was a Lab/Irish Wolfhound. It would be pretty neat if that is what he turned out to be!
Equuschick, if you would like to see some more IW puppy photos for comparison, I would be happy to share those I have saved. Donovan does have some nice big paws! But his face doesn't quite look like a purebred IW puppy to me. Let me know. Renee P
Renee, we'd love to see pictures. If he is an IW, we are sure he's not a purebred. We sent pics to an IW rescue and their rep. contacted us and says that some of them look a lot like IW, and others more like a mix. She says terrier puppies look a lot like IW puppies, differing mainly in size. But he can't be more than three months old and he's already as big as most terrier breeds are full-grown.

He does seem to be pretty bright.
