Combine the juice from one can of pineapple rings with equal amounts of teriyaki sauce and marinate hamburger patties in this for just an hour or so.
Grill your burgers as usual- but also grill the pineapple slices.
Have the burgers and pineapples together on a toasted bun with a slice of swiss cheese, lettuce, and red onion.
The first time we had this we thought it sounded disgusting, but our friend encouraged us to at least try it- and it was pretty delicious!

Oooh, this sounds good! You know what else is a good idea? When you have just a little barbecue sauce left in a bottle, pour in the juice from your pineapple can and shake it up. Then use it as a marinade. I did this with a cheaper cut of meat (bottom round) and it was fantastic!
We love teri burgers here in Hawaii. They even have them at McDonald's!
For me such different ingredients are OK. I am angry and your blog makes me salivating. Uhh! I am waiting for new interesting recipes.
Best regards
