Caraway-Seed Bread

1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 teaspoons caraway seed
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk

Sift into a bowl the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in the butter, add caraway seed, ad blend well. Beat the eggs and add to the milk. Stir into dry ingredients, blending just to moisten ingredients. Spread in a buttered 9-inch pan. Bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes, or until browned. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
