So are you voting for Barr, then? (Or are you saying?) Does "Maybe" mean "Maybe he could win, and maybe we could turn this country around if everyone voted for him?" Or "Maybe I might vote for this guy?"
That Goldwater quote is one of my absolute favorite statements of all time. My dad turned me on to Goldwater years ago, which led me to that statement. The man who provided it to Goldwater, Karl Hess, went on from conservatism to anarcho-capitalism. I had a book by him last year from the same publisher as the Uncle Eric books (Bluestocking Press), but it got lost shortly before our move and I haven't been able to figure out where it went.
I was slightly surprised to see Ron Paul appear on your blog. I was somewhat more surprised to see Ayn Rand and George Carlin.
That gives me hope. I'm so tired of this 2 party system of politics that we have. I'm tired of voting for the 'lessor of the two evils'. I want a 'real' choice. I may just investigate this.

Maybe only means maybe I might vote for him. Don't know yet.
So far I am only in the less than admirable position of knowing who I will not be voting for.
