If you've read the TN Farm Girl's annual post about one of her family's favorite traditions, you've probably also been interested in purchasing your own copy of Paula Palangi's 'The Last Straw,' published by David C. Cook in 1992.

I also read Paula Palangi’s story years and years ago and loved it- when I read it, it was in a magazine that later was lost.

Happily, that story is also reprinted in the book Christmas In My Heart, volume 2, compiled and edited by Joe Wheeler. This is easier to find.
