This should put a smile on the faces of the Grinches at PIRG and Public Citizen

A Family Dollar store, lacking the paperwork to prove their shoes are safe, simply destroys them.

A customer offered to buy the shoes to donate them to a charity (it's on the video), but no, it is better that the children go barefoot or stuff their feet in cramped shoes two sizes too small, or wear shoes with holes in them, or shoes bought on the black market than that they wear shoes legitimately purchased at a dollar store- because all those things are worse than wearing shoes lacking the proper papers.

At least, that's where your priorities lie if you are a Consumer Reports, Public Citizen, or PIRG shill, or you work in Congress.

The rest of us actually care more about the children than the paperwork. Pin It
