....is the setting on our dryer.
The little boys have been here since Thursday night. Their mom just called and asked if they could stay until tomorrow afternoon because she has a doctor appointment.
When she called, I was trying to make some phone calls of my own to figure out transportation and let my adult kids know that their Grandpa, my dad, is in the hospital again. The doctors say he is unresponsive, and his blood pressure is unsustainably low.
It's possible that he could recover on his own, but my mom is canceling a trip she had planned to take, leaving tomorrow, to Florida to visit my niece.
The boys are staying until tomorrow anyway. My husband will be home at noon so I can take him back to working on The Rattery and then I will head over to the hospital to keep my mom company in that strange vigil of waiting for the death of the body of the man whose mind left the room many years ago. The HG, who was Grandpa's favorite, is feeding her babies and then figuring out what to do so she can come up as well.
Thanks for thinking of us.
Saying lots of prayers for you all!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers. My mother-in-law has Alzheimers, we never know when we visit if she will still remember who we are.
