We left the house at 12:00 this afternoon. I to the elderly lady's house, and mother to the store for much needed Christmas groceries. I, at my friends house, put the lights on her fake tree and then proceeded to decorate the tree.
Wow, there were a lot of ornaments! I didn't know that so many could fit on one small tree; it was dressed in the most beautiful garb you can imagine.
There were coloured and white lights in the background, and then it was a blaze of red, gold, silver, and some green, on the foreground. When I was done with the decorations, she had me put up a little nativity scene underneath.
And if I may be so bold........it was BEAUTIFUL.
After I was done there mother came and took me to piano lessons; she had already dropped Pipsqueak and FYG off.
Our teacher said we had "accomplished quite a bit for only practicing once this week."
