Fish in a Jar

You may have seen the DHM's post about Test Tube Sharks. This is what she calls her "latest and greatest ever" thriftshop find:

I do not mind seeing it on a bookshelf... that I can handle, but as I was carrying it off to a spot better lighted it bumped the jar. Eww. I can only handle so much.
The Equus-Chick has asked how she is supposed to eat with a dead fetal shark staring at her. She could always just not eat on the couch.

    The really fascinating thing about this is trying to picture the mind of a person who would TAKE such a thing to a thrift shop.

    Mama Squirrel has been finding abundance lately at yard sales. Haven't come across anything as exciting as a fetal shark, of course; but we did find a copy of the D'Aulaires' Trolls (if you like that sort of thing) and a 1998 version of Rosetta Stone French for $2 (it has half of the current level 1 program on the disk, which is enough to at least play with).
