My son explains that no, he is not blocking the view of my flowers. I can go outside and walk around the log hut he is building with our firewood and there is a three foot space on the other side of the log hut where I can stand and view my flowers.
He also tells me he cleared this with his father.
Fortunately, when he tried to clear it with me, based on past experience, I told him he could start building, but if I did not like what I saw, he would have to take it down and move it.
Speaking of flowers, are you seeing things bloom much earlier than usual this year? I don't know which part of the country you're in, but here in NYC we have Spanish bluebells which usually wouldn't show up until May, azaleas likewise, tree peonies, columbines, and the cherries have come and gone.
ReplyDeletehe'd have to move it...he may possibly get cookies or cupcakes made with love when he came back from doing all that work..cause he did it with such a good spirit....of course...lol..but no way i'm not enjoying my flowers..
ReplyDeleteYes, Frances. The lilacs and daffodils came a month early. The peonies haven't come yet, but they are budding. Columbine is blooming right now (it blooms a while here).
ReplyDeleteThe US is having a warmer spring than usual, but the rest of the world is having a colder spring, from what I read.
Oh my - today I saw roses blooming!
