What's In Your Hand End Table

I wanted a small end table. What I had is a stand for a ceramic water dispenser.  However, my water dispenser is broken.

It doesn't have to have books on the bottom.  A
 pretty potted plant or a vase would look nice.

But I do have the piece of pottery and it's in a place that gets no natural light so a potted plant won't do (what, btw, is an unpotted plant?) And here we are.
