Ribbon 'Candy" Decoration

Take any ribbon you like, cut a long strip of it.  Soak in fabric stiffener or this mixture of starch and water.

Now comes the tricky part- you're going to take the ribbon, fold it accordian style, and then use pins to pin it to a styrofoam plate or tray to dry. Turn the ribbon horizontally to the plate. Put a pin in the plate or tray.  prop the first fold up against the pin, then pin the ribbon to the tray at the next valley of ribbon.  Keep the pins, and loops, close together, and let the ribbon dry overnight.
